Ebony House has been designed for an awesome young family. Their brief was to consider family, location, context, environment and a timeless architectural style.
The form responds to the mix of federation semi detached dwellings and Californian bungalows that line ‘the flats’ of Manly, whilst introducing a contemporary monotone palette of sustainable materials. The design capitalizes on the north/south aspect whilst minimizing overlooking and overshadowing of neighboring properties.
