This project goal was to create a swan out of an ugly duckling.

The site is an awkward shape however, clever architectural design ensured an efficiency in the floor plates. We managed to take advantage of the length of the facade directed towards the view to the north and east whilst screening and shielding the apartments from the built form that surrounds the triangle shaped site. The result is a building that creates a beautiful entry statement into the heart of Dee Why beach and grounds the southern end of The Strand with the north – ensuring a successful ground floor retail is also achievable. This project also relied on the Affordable Housing Sepp and offers 15% of the apartments as affordable housing supply.
