63 The Corso
17 residential apartments
This proposal is an adaptive reuse of an existing building in a heritage conservation area in the heart of Manly. It converts an existing backpackers’ accommodation to residential apartments, fully taking advantage of the outstanding location.
The unit mix caters to a variety of budgets and ranges from affordable studio apartments to larger luxury penthouses. The project brings together the best of modern living in a heritage context.
The design of the contemporary top floor extension takes cues from the original building, such as a central axis symmetry.
